I was pondering some things inside of my head
Wondering 'bout different people, some alive and some dead
About the difference they made, about the lives that they lead
About how they spoke out and got a price on their head
It was a thought…revealing, not ignorance, concealing
I see a future with those that just keep on stealing...
From our mother earth, they take from her for all she's worth
Caring not she gave them birth, they shrug their shoulders full of mirth

So they think that they have won?, but for me it's just begun!
To topple them from power, yes it is their final hour!
This clutch on us…control, i think it's come to way to much
Our feelings, they get shrouded with the loss of human touch
Cos without hope we are dead, our lifeless eyes, show life once lead
And beaten down by systems, corruption, power and all the rest
We're specialized, confused and writing lines for our own death
Unless we think about the good to do…it is alive in me and you

We need positive action, Increasing love with permanent traction
To feel this force well up for good...compels me to do all I should
To re-align, not be malign...And heed our mother's warning sign
A better thing awaits us, but we're blinded by false trust...
Yes, a crystal ball of hope is what it's come to for many
Perpetuating acts which I don't seem to see as friendly
For me, or you or anyone that lives below the sun

So as the rest of the system slides off the face of the earth
